Yacht Monty B

Monty B is a fantastic 25 year old ocean-going sailing ketch built in Barcelona by North Wind. She is 44 foot long with a beam of 3.94 metres at her widest point. Being a ketch means we have two masts and we fly three sails: a mainsail, a mizzen and a large genoa out front.

There is plenty of space above decks including a large, open teak foredeck which is ideal for relaxing and sunbathing. The yacht has a safe, roomy centre-cockpit with cushions.

There is a swimming platform at the stern with steps to enable you to get in and out of the water safely and easily.

There is a toilet below decks for general use.

During the summer months we have a large sunshade which covers the cockpit area, enabling us to make the most of the cooling breeze while the boat is under way, in the comfort of the shade.

We are more than happy to show you "how the boat works", including all its electronics such as the radar. We find that children, particularly young lads, find all of this stuff fascinating.

PLEASE NOTE, MONTY B IS OUR HOME AND A WORK IN PROGRESS. A DAY'S SAILING AROUND THE BOKA IS A LUXURY EXPERIENCE, HOWEVER THIS IS NOT A LUXURY YACHT AND WE DO NOT WEAR UNIFORMS! :-)

No price increases for 2 years

We have not increased our prices for 2 years, despite the increase in costs. This is because we want to make our trips as affordable as possible and we appreciate that times are difficult at the moment.

Our price structure is designed so that large groups of adults pay a little more, as we assume they are able to do this.  Discounts are available and we can arrange shared trips for smaller groups/couples.

What our customers say about us

J Harrop-Griffiths, UK says.........

"We all remember with affection our day out on your boat. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable day, and we all still talk about it every time that Montenegro is discussed. .. we will definitely be doing it again this year."
